Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Trailer

"We both have families…" Not sold on this yet? You will be after this trailer. With the movie finished, all the VFX, all the apes CGI, and all the music/sound/visual work done, Fox is sending out their final marketing push for Matt Reeves' sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The franchise continues with this next featuring mo-cap Andy Serkis as Caesar. Joined by Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jason Clarke as the human cast, with Toby Kebbell and Judy Greer playing more apes. We've seen enough footage already that I don't want to suggest spoiling any more of it now, but I have to say - this looks extremely awesome, and I have a very good feeling it's going to be one of the best movies of this summer.

Here's the very final trailer for Matt Reeves' sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, direct from Fox:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species. Besides Serkis, the apes cast includes Judy Greer as Cornelia & Toby Kebbell as Koba. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to Rupert Wyatt's revival of the sci-fi franchise Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Directing is Matt Reeves, of Let Me In and Cloverfield previously, from a script written by Mark Bomback, Scott Z. Burns, Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. 20th Century Fox has Dawn of the Planet of the Apes scheduled for a 3D release on July 11th this summer.

Hi Alex! This trailer was absolutely stunning! I hope the reason you label it as "watch" instead of "must watch" was only because it was quite spoilery.

I'm going with it was probably because of the long headline and a "must" would not fit lol.

That climax battle sequence will be something to behold! I can only wonder at how much that must have cost...

The photo reminds me of MacGruber. Maybe I will be seeing "Dawn of the MacGrubers."

Too much revealed, wish I hadnt watched this. They should have kept the battleship/military coming out of the trailers, it would have been a nice surprise. That said, HOLY FUCK I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

NOooooooooo this trailer showed wayyyyyyyyyy to much! Cmon damnit, I enjoyed being kept in the dark about what possibly led to the peace breaking and the military backing of whatever humans were left in that city. I mean that naval destroyer floating in like that ... damn that was awesome but still I would have rather been like DAMN while watching the movie on the big screen.
