The Frame Trailer

Now this is something very unique. Some may remember an indie sci-fi film from a few years back titled Ink, about a mysterious creature that steals children's souls featuring mesmerizing visuals. Well, the filmmaking team behind Ink, husband and wife Jamin Winans and Kiowa Winans, have returned with a new project called The Frame where they've "dug even deeper" this time. They've been quietly working on this for the last three years, and now the first trailer has debuted. It's very nicely edited, a bit trippy, captivating and still mysterious. No plot details are available yet, but you might want to give this trailer a look anyway.

Here's the first official trailer for Jamin Winans' The Frame, direct from their own YouTube:

There is currently no synopsis or any other story details available for The Frame yet, aside from it being "a mind-bending science fiction mystery" starring newcomers David Carranza and Tiffany Mualem. The Frame is the new film from writer/director Jamin Winans, and producer Kiowa Winans, both of the indie sci-fi film Ink previously. Winans was born and raised in Colorado, and still resides with his wife Kiowa in Colorado. Apart from films, Winans also works on commercials and TV spots. For more info and updates, follow the film on Facebook or visit Winans' official website here. We also suggest watching Ink. First impression?

If the movie was currently out and I watched this trailer and heard nothing else about it, I would run to the nearest theater to watch it. Alas, I'm positive time will give us too many details and ruin any surprise. Either way, I'm in

Fantastic trailer! Very unique. Up there with Nightcrawler as two of my recent favourites. I watched bits of Ink, but got tired of it pretty quick. I found out about it through the great song at the end of The Grey - it's taken from Ink.
