"I am a nymphomaniac, and I love my filthy, dirty lust." Right now audiences can catch Lars von Trier's sexy but controversial Nymphomaniac: Volume I on VOD, but it doesn't hit limited theaters until March 21st. Now the second part of the Danish filmmakers risque story isn't far behind. Nymphomaniac: Volume II will arrive on VOD just one day before the first part hits theaters, and then gets a limited theatrical release in April. Now the first US trailer for the film has arrived, picking up with the story of Joe’s (Charlotte Gainsbourg) adulthood, where her journey of self-discovery leads to darker complications.

Nymphomaniac is written and directed by controversial Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier (Dogville, Antichrist, Melancholia), who filmed two different versions and split the story into two volumes. A self-diagnosed nymphomaniac recounts her erotic experiences to the man who saved her after a beating. French-English actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, who appeared explicitly in von Trier's Antichrist, plays Joe, as the story is about her "hidden erotic desires" and spans her life from a young age to 50. Magnolia Pictures released Nymphomaniac: Volume I on iTunes/VOD on March 6th and limited theaters on March 21st and Nymphomaniac: Volume II arrives on VOD March 20th and limited theaters April 4th. Gainesbourg is pretty fearless as an actor , from the looks of this .. not sure I would see this in a Theatre , around a bunch of strangers . .. Is this all the French do now , make sexy movies ?( "Blue is The Warmest Color" seemed to spoof this a bit ) Just much better than SkineMax , I hope ....
