Watch: Kanye West's Concert Film 'Yeezus' Gets a Trippy Teaser Trailer

Anyone who saw Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in theaters last year, or plans on seeing the R-rated alternate cut in theaters for one week starting this weekend, already saw Kanye West on the big screen looking like Michael Jackson decked out in red leather. But now we'll get a chance to see the boisterous rapper in his element as a teaser trailer just popped up on the Grammy winner's official website with the appropriately loud announcement, "YEEZUS FILM DIRECTED BY HYPE WILLIAMS COMING TO THEATERS." It's not hard to imagine West yelling that out, and the teaser is a pretty trippy video. Watch!

Here's the teaser trailer for Hype Williams' Yeezus, featuring Kanye West (via The Film Stage):

If you don't know who Hype Williams is, you're likely already familiar with his work. Williams has been behind the camera for a number of Kanye West's music videos including, "Gold Digger," "Drive Slow," "Stronger," "Can't Tell Me Nothing," "Homecoming," "Heartless" and "Runaway." From the looks of this video, the concert is pretty crazy, and should make for quite a concert film on the big screen. Personally, I'm more interested in seeing if there's documentary segments in between seeing the testy and cocky West behind the scenes of his shows. We'll let you know when any real details about Yeezus surface. Anyone?

I hope there's lots of horses running through the snow. I liked most of the album a lot, so I may get this.

Seriously how do you even label garbage and musical trash like this as WATCH? Kanye West is stupid and his music is just a bunch of wannabe rips. He's lost his god damn mind as many other so called music artists today.

We put "Watch" in a headline so that people who aren't reading from the front page of our website, maybe in an RSS feed, will know that the article contains a video. When we really want readers to watch something because it's cool or awesome, we put "Must Watch." Kanye West may be obnoxious, cocky, and over the top, but he makes some solid music, and he knows how to entertain. End of story.

Kanye West makes "solid music" similar to how Michael Bay makes "solid movies" and McDonalds makes "solid food". You might want to try expanding your musical horizons a tad.

Charlie Hard on Feb 27, 2014

Actually he's a hell of a producer and a pretty good rapper. Ignorant to assume someone's musical tastes are narrow based on one artist.

OfficialJab on Feb 28, 2014

Yes, because my enjoyment of one mainstream rapper that everyone loves to rag on absolutely means that my musical horizons must be extremely narrow. How's that "Jump to Conclusions" mat working out for you?

Ethan Anderton on Feb 28, 2014

That's like saying "I only raped one child so way to conclude that I'm a child molester because of one incident"

Never going to watch or even mention this.

Like most artists or actors, Kanye West's music and talent should speak for itself. He however is a shit person which pisses me off because I can't say the same about his music. It's good. Argue it all you want. Just like McDonalds is unhealthy as cigarette smoke but it's god damned delicious. I truly believe that Michael Bay is the anti christ but dammit if the man doesn't know how to make an action sequence. As weird and douchey as this man is I'm able to let his music speak for itself. Hate Kanye. Love his music.

Kanye West is releasing a concert movie LOL I think he is about to get a big dose of reality about how popular he truly is and guess what it is not in his favor!!!

P.S. The Trailer here was absolutely Terrible!!! I laughed at it.

Professor_Bedlam on Feb 28, 2014

I have zero desire to add to this "artists" wallet or ego.
