"The sequel you did Nazi coming!" Oh my, what a tagline. Well Go USA has debuted one last official trailer for Tommy Wirkola's sequel Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead, the follow-up to the insanely absurd horror comedy Dead Snow from 2009. This time they up the ante taking things out of the winter wilderness and onto the streets of a small town when the undead Nazi army returns to finish what they started. The film picks up where the first left off with Martin, played by Vegar Hoel, still alive after the first incident but stuck with a "super-powered Zombie arm" trying to kill him. We previously featured an early festival teaser for this a while ago, but this footage gives us a taste of the entire film and it looks wild 'n crazy, as expected.
Here's the latest official trailer for Tommy Wirkola's Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead, via SlashFilm:
Martin (Vegar Hoel) hasn’t had the best vacation. He accidentally killed his girlfriend with an axe. He cut his own arm off with a chainsaw. And his friends STILL got devoured by a battallion of Nazi Zombies. This morning, he woke up in a hospital bed with a new arm – but it’s a super-powered Zombie arm that wants to kill him, and anything else it can reach. Martin's PISSED. And with the help of his new Zombie Squad pals (Martin Starr, Jocelyn DeBoer, Ingrid Haas), he"s gonna deliver some payback to Colonel Herzog and his precious Nazi gold – by raising an undead army of his own. Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead is once again directed by Norwegian filmmaker Tommy Wirkola from the first film, who went on to make Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Dead Snow 2 premiered at Sundance, and lands in theaters October 10th this fall.
Oh man, this movie was hilarious! Way better then Dead Snow 1.

I don't know about this. It's way too ridiculous

I had the pleasure of seeing this gem last week and, without having seen the first, I got to say that, purely on entertainment value, this movie is amazing and a blast and the theater. I saw it at a film festival, so, obviously, the crowd was going wild at the best/funniest/goriest scenes. The story is not great, and steps into the ridicule, but they embrace it and it serves a good basis for all the over-the-top action to occur. Basically, if you like zombies, gore and having fun at the movie theater, this movie is definitely for you and you should watch it asap!

Can't wait, loved the first one!

Dead Snow was one of my favourite films the year it came out, something to do with the way they Norwegians dealt with the zombies, this looks way madder and more commercial, but the reviews on here seem positive enough. 🙂
