Watch: 'NBA 2K14' Game Gets Creepy But Impressive 'Space Jam' Mod

While we're still waiting for video game movies like Warcraft and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune to come to fruition, one fan of both films and video games with some extra time on his hands (a lot of extra time actually) decided to go the opposite route. Children of the 90s and anyone aware of the golden era of Michael Jordan undoubtedly remember the family comedy Space Jam featuring the professional NBA player teaming up with the Looney Tunes to play a race of aliens using stolen talents of other NBA players in a game of basketball. We saw a faux ESPN documentary short about it, but now you can play the game.

Here's a video showing off a Space Jam mod for the video game NBA 2K14 (via Movies.com):

As you can see, a video game modder known as MGX has taken the basketball game NBA 2K14 and created characters from Space Jam that can be played in the game itself. And we're not just talking about human characters like Michael Jordan, Bill Murray and Dennis Nedry Wayne Knight. There's also mods of some very creepy renderings of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Yosemite Sam, Lola Bunny, Elmer Fudd and all the Monstars. And to cap off this nightmare fuel, they all have athletic human bodies. It's very weird, but also super cool, and much better than the idea of a Space Jam sequel with LeBron James.
