[REC] 4 Apocalypse

Following a teaser trailer last summer, nearly a year later, a second teaser trailer for the horror sequel and franchise conclusion, [REC] 4 Apocalypse has arrived. The film hits theaters overseas sometime this fall, and this new teaser shows off the demonic infection spreading on an oil tanker where surviving reporter Angela Vidal (Manuela Velasco) has been taken for examination. The official synopsis says she's infected, but it seems like she's not the threat to everyone else on the ship, so maybe she's the key to finding the cure? Either way, this looks like a fantastic way to end the suspenseful international horror franchise. Watch it!

Here's the new teaser for Jaume Balagueró's [REC] 4 Apocalypse originally from STYD:

[REC] 4 Apocalypse is directed by Spanish horror filmmaker Jaume Balagueró, who co-wrote & co-directed the original films [REC] and [REC] 2 before breaking out to make the horror Sleep Tight on his own. He's now returning to the franchise to finish the story, along with producer Julio Fernández. [REC] was made by Balagueró and Paco Plaza. In the film, Angela Vidal (Manuela Velasco), the young television reporter who entered the quarantined building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive and is taken to to an oil tanker to be examined. However, it is unbeknown to her escorts that she carries the virus. The film opens up overseas this fall, but we're not sure when it will hit the United States just yet, so stay tuned. Excited yet?

They managed to cram the whole movie in one teaser trailer. Impressive.

Yup. So no more interest. They have a girl with a sleeveless top running around in the rain though...

This is #1 of my list of must see movies this year. I am a little worried about the setting of the movie, but have high hopes they get past the shitty chapter 3 and pick up right after chapter 2

I hated part 3....and I hate how this one copies the whole let's get rid of the found footage camera style! That's what made the first two films! Blah

The second one peaked, 3rd was flat and this looks plain.
