Everly

"I know I'm gonna die tonight." If Liam Neeson can revamp his career as an aging action star, then why can't Salma Hayek do the same? Of course, the actress is only 48 years old, which makes her 14 years younger than Neeson, but you don't normally see actresses going all out like this at her age. But that's what makes this first international trailer for Everly from director Joe Lynch so damn cool. Well, there's also some killer action sequences all set within the confines of a single apartment, so that's a big selling point. At the very least, this looks purely entertaining, like Kill Bill meets The Raid, so count me in. Watch below!

Here's the first international trailer for Joe Lynch's Everly direct from YouTube:

Everly is directed by Joe Lynch (Knights of Badassdom) and written by first-time scribe Yale Hannon. It’s Christmas time, but all is not well in the world of Everly (Salma Hayek). A call girl by trade, Everly has turned against her gangster boss Taiko (Hiroyuki Watanabe) and become a police informant. In response, Taiko has put out a hit on Everly and her family. Soon, every criminal in town wants to cash in. Everly’s survival instincts quickly kick in as she matches wits and firepower with Taiko and a seemingly endless stream of killers. Radius-TWC has already acquired the film for release sometime in 2015. Stay tuned.

looks like a trash movie... And Salma is always sexy ... Downside of this is: way too frequent selling formula ...

I don't think this is a must watch. A lady firing a gun every five seconds, buckets of blood, some gangsters talking trash. Haven't we seen stuff like this a hundred times?
