Watch: Sleek Trailer for Toxic Alien Planet Indie Sci-Fi Short 'Prospect'
"This is not our world… this will never be our world… we cannot stay here…" Another trailer for a short, but I can't help sharing this footage from the sci-fi short film titled Prospect, directed by Zeek Earl & Chris Caldwell. This is a short we've featured before, back when it was just a Kickstarter project looking for cash to finish. Well, here it is, at least close to being finished. Now it's in trailer format and it looks much, much better than before, I must say. Prospect, starring Callie Harlow, is "the unusual coming-of-age story of a teenage girl on a toxic alien planet." This looks solid for an indie short, and I'm anxious to see the full thing.
Here's the trailer for Zeek Earl & Chris Caldwell's short film Prospect, in high def from Vimeo:
Prospect is the unusual coming-of-age story of a teenage girl on a toxic alien planet. She and her father hunt for precious materials aiming to strike it rich. When the father is attacked by a roving bandit, the daughter must take control. The project was funded on Kickstarter last year, earning $21,000 to complete the film. Prospect is co-directed by Zeek Earl & Chris Caldwell, from a script written by Chris Caldwell. The cast includes Callie Harlow & Tony Doupe. With cinematography by Zeek Earl, and original music by Daniel L.K. Caldwell. Produced by SHEP Films. We'll keep everyone updated on a full release of the film.

Agree it looks like AE but more natural. Rifles threw me off a bit they could have used better props, didn't feel outer world-y...

This part just doesn't seem to go together... "A coming of age story of a teenage girl on a toxic planet". Sorry I just don't get it.
