Watch: 'The LEGO Movie' Unveils a Fun Little Animated Blooper Reel
by Ethan Anderton
February 13, 2014
In what seems to Warner Bros. Animation Group having a little fun with a combination of fake animated outtakes and legitimate sound booth mistakes and conversations, The LEGO Movie just debuted their very own blooper reel. What's cool is there are some outtakes that were made just for fun, complete with LEGO crew members with cameras, but there also seem to be real alternate takes of Will Arnett as Batman right before flying into the sun, and a candid conversation between Chris Pratt and Arnett in the recording booth, both made fun with animation to go along with them. Alison Brie has a good one too. Watch below!
Here's the blooper reel for Phil Lord & Chris Miller's The LEGO Movie from YouTube:
The LEGO Movie is a 3D animated film written and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film follows Emmet, a completely ordinary, rules-following, LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Morgan Freeman all lend their voices to the film Warner Bros. Pictures has in theaters right now. Go see it!

Awesome that these studios take on these gag reels, as they must take dozens of hours to make, It shows you they must really love animating.

This is much more entertaining than that making of featurette "starring" nothing but Aussies. I thought this was an American film.
