Edge of Tomorrow

"They have the power to reset the day. And now so do you." With the release of Edge of Tomorrow just a few weeks away, an IMAX exclusive trailer has been unveiled online showing off tons more footage from the sci-fi blockbuster starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. This time we get a little more details on the alien invaders (though we still don't see a clear shot of them) and this new power that Cruise's untrained soldier has somehow harnessed, along with even more Bill Paxton. The action on diaply looks pretty damn impressive, and we hope this is another great piece of science fiction for the summer. Watch the trailer!

Here's the IMAX trailer for Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow, originally from Warner Bros Pictures:

Edge of Tomorrow is set in the distant future during war between a race of aliens called Mimics and the human race. A soldier fighting in a war with aliens finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day in the battle, though he becomes better skilled along the way. Tom Cruise plays Lt. Col. Bill Cage, an untrained and ill-equipped officer who is dropped "into what amounts to little more than a suicide mission," but gets stuck in a time loop on the same mission. Doug Liman (Go, Bourne Identity, Jumper) is directing. Warner Bros will release Edge of Tomorrow, formerly All You Need is Kill, in theaters everywhere June 6th this year. They should change the name to Respawn.

Or change it back to "All You Need Is Kill"

Agreed. The only thing I can see wrong with this film is that they are giving up the opportunity to give it one of the most badass movie titles I've ever heard.

Completely agree. Marketing screwed up big time on this one

Well neither is the best but 'Edge of Tomorrow' is disposable and sounds a bit pretentious

It's too bad. America is too cautious with anything that deals with guns or death. I say death to being PC!

This just looks more awesome every trailer I see. Can't wait for it.

Sorry guy , but the writing's on the wall : Sci-Fi ( and CB movies in general ) Rule right now . I'm no fan of his , but I give him credit for getting on this gravy train early . and the last one was better than i thought it would be ( tho I still wouldn't have paid theater prices for it ) . I think he IS still making Tom Cruise movies ; just in this medium now ... he's one of those actors , who really doesn't change his personna much - no hair dye , for one . ... Affleck is another : they basically play Themselves doing " this " character . And the movie is banked FOR that ..

Up to now I thought this will be great. But perhaps those creatures could be a weak spot. They are moving too fast, there are too many of them, they look a bit too digital and they already show too much of their physical appearance. That takes away some of the chills. The scariest movie monsters have always been the ones that progress slowly towards you and show only little of what they really look like until the very end. But other than that; this still could become a 4 out of 5 or even better.
