Watch: Tom Hardy in Another Outstanding UK Trailer for 'The Drop'

"Me? I just tend the bar." Wow. Empire has debuted a brand new UK trailer for Michaël R. Roskam's The Drop, a crime thriller starring Tom Hardy as a bartender and loving dog caretaker. We already featured the first trailer for this quiet, mysterious thriller with a "killer twist" (or so the quote exclaims). It's one of James Gandolfini's last films, and also features Noomi Rapace, James Frecheville and Bullhead star Matthias Schoenaerts. The cinematography looks fantastic, I love the music (anyone know the song?), and the story looks intriguing. I'm totally sold, very much looking forward to watching this. Fire it up below.

The Drop (formerly Animal Rescue) is directed by Michaël R. Roskam and written by Dennis Lehane (based on his short story of the same name). The story focuses on Bob Saginowski (Tom Hardy), a former criminal trying to straighten out his life as the bartender along with his cousin Marv (James Gandolfini) at a place that also serves as a money drop for local gangsters. Bob's attempt at a normal life with a rescued pit bull puppy and his girlfriend (Noomi Rapace) falls apart when he finds himself in the center of a robbery gone wrong, committed by a thug (Matthias Schoenaerts). Fox Searchlight releases the film on September 19th.
