It Follows

Back at Fantastic Fest, our own Jeremy Kirk gave the indie horror It Follows a pretty rave review. The film has already made the round at several festivals this year, including Cannes, and it'll pop up at Sundance in January too. Now, shortly after the international teaser trailer for the film popped up, the film has been given a spring release by Radius-TWC, and a new US trailer for the horror film has arrived. Maika Monroe stars in the film about a teenager who finds herself haunted by nightmarish visions and the inescapable sense that something is after her, all of this following a strange sexual encounter with a boy. Watch below!

Here's the US trailer for David Robert Mitchell's It Follows, straight form Radius-TWC:

You can still watch the international teaser trailer for David Robert Mitchell's It Follows right here.

For 19-year-old Jay (Monroe), fall should be about school, boys and weekends out at the lake. But after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter, she finds herself plagued by strange visions and the inescapable sense that someone, or something, is following her. Faced with this burden, Jay and her friends must find a way to escape the horrors that seem to be only a few steps behind. It Follows is written and directed by American filmmaker David Robert Mitchell, of the film The Myth of the American Sleepover previously. This premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year, and it will also play at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, but Radius-TWC will release It Follows in US theaters next spring on March 13th, 2015. Well?

I was a bit disappointed in Housebound. I think had they played it straight and not with the twist at the end, it would have been a better movie IMO...but it was a good production coming from New Zealand...have you seen Fresh Meat Avi?

Rage72 on Dec 19, 2014

no i haven't but i will look it up immediateley... I liked the twist, because for my feeling it fits the story...
