Will Ferrell & Adam McKay Reveal New 'Anchorman 2: No Joke Cut'
by Ethan Anderton
April 1, 2014
If the R-rated cut of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues with 95% new jokes wasn't good enough when it hit theaters last month, then maybe some news announced by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell will pique your interest. The director and star of the comedy sequel announced Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: No Joke Cut, and they have the full support of producer Judd Apatow saying, "Comedies often fail to get the consideration they deserve because laughter masks the serious storytelling going on beneath the surface. This new cut illustrates that Anchorman 2 can hold its weight against any drama.” It comes as no coincidence the news arrives as the film hits Blu-Ray and DVD on this appropriate day for humor. Watch!
Here's a preview of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: No Joke Cut from the YouTube:
In case you're confused by this news, remember what day this announcement has arrived.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is written and directed by Adam McKay, the man behind the original 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and comedies like Step Brothers. With the 70's behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk. Also back are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) - All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm. Paramount Pictures released the sequel everywhere today on Blu-Ray and DVD.

I bought Anchorman 2 on the playstation network because I loved the first one so much. I honestly didn't even make it halfway through before I turned it off. That's not good because I tend to have a wide variety of things that I find funny.

Who fucking cares movie was a flop, I feel bad for the horse, even if it is dead. Also if these jokes were not in the original movie, it means they thought they were not as funny. So thanks for making a cut of your over hyped movie filled with jokes YOU GUYS didnt think were good enough to put in the theatrical cut.
