Briefly: Paramount has confirmed and cleared contracts and deals for the next World War Z sequel, which is definitely moving forward. The studio has announced a release date of June 9th, 2017 two years from now for "World War Z 2" (though it will likely get a new title). Brad Pitt will be back to star again, and he'll be working with director J.A. Bayona for this sequel, which will be "starting with a clean slate" according to the screenwriter. The first movie, based on Max Brooks' beloved zombie book, showed zombies taking over the world in a global epidemic. Only Pitt was brave enough to keep hunting for a solution. We'll keep an eye out for more updates as they continue to work on this sequel. The first movie opened in June of 2013.

This site has one downside and that's the late reviews of movies or no reviews. But still my favorite movie site, because they pick the right movies to review...

I love the classic zombie films, and some of the modern ones too, but I was not a fan of World Bore Zzzzzz

Thank god they're not bringing back those two awful child actors from the first movie.

Just don't have CGI zombies and this sequel will be infinitely better than the first.

From now on there is a pre mad max period and a time after mad max and every movie must be compared to it if it's a actioner. So this be will be a 7 on the mad max scale. Age Ultron a 7,5,the kingsmen 8,5, fast and Furious 8 Etc... The first one is liked, but better cgi is necessary...

Jesus, it's like Brad Pitt's trying to pull off a Charlie Hunnam, here. And failing....... miserably.
