Bryan Singer Reveals Jubilee & Jean Grey on 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Set

There's been a lot of talk about X-Men this week, from our first look at Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler in X-Men: Apocalypse to rumblings of the sequel, along with Wolverine 3, bringing the Bryan Singer X-Men universe to a close in favor of letting the X-Men: First Class timeline continue. We'll see what happens next year, but in the meantime, production is underway on Apocalypse, and Singer is certainly being open about teasing the film. Today he revealed a photo from the set of the sequel showing us Lana Condor and Sophie Turner as Jubilee and Jean Grey, all dressed up in 80s wardrobe and hair. Look!

X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: Days of Future Past), who co-wrote the script with Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris and Simon Kinberg. Plot details are scarce, but we know the comic book villain Apocalypse will be the antagonist, and we'll see Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan and Kodi Smit-McPhee join the team as Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclops and Nightcrawler respectively with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Rose Byrne all reprising their franchise roles. X-Men: Apocalypse arrives in theaters on May 27th, 2016.

Oh you meant that Apocalypse will only end the "Singer"-era and the "First Class"-era will continue keeping the series from starting all over again? That's actually a cool way to "reboot" X-Men!

Thank goodness Sophie Turner is 19...cuz she's looking super hot in that 80's attire. Good lookin' chicks always look hotter wearing 80's clothes.

well Jubilee had that yellow jacket ( short TrenchCoat actually ) on all the time , but those look like shorts , not pants on her I realize Sophie is stooping a bit but a " Jean Grey " should be much taller . at 19 , you're probably done growing UP ... I still don't understand how these last two Singer movies are going BACK to His XMen Characters ? not with all the new faces ... and XMen: Apoc should continue from DOFP , not XMen 3

Sophie Turner is 5'9" so that's pretty tall already (although Famke Jensen is 6'). Jean Grey is like "attractive" tall. Not "Briene of Tarth what the fuck is that?" tall.

The problem with having Jubilee in the movie besides the fact she sucks beyond measurement, is that every minute screen time she's given is taken away from other more interesting and awesome characters like Nightcrawler
