The Suits of James Bond

"28 dinner jackets in 23 films." James Bond is known for many things, dressing in suave suits being one of them. Many have tried for years to profile his jackets, or feature them as marketing for expensive fashion designers. A die-hard Bond fan has created a website dedicated to Bond's fashion and recently debuted and infographic that "breaks down James Bond’s 28 black tie outfits by every part of the outfit. All illustrations are based on examples from the James Bond films." It's titled "The Suits of James Bond" and highlights everything from the style to the color to the tie itself. As a big Bond fan myself, I can't help sharing this here.

Here's a look at the James Bond infographic directly from - click for more details.

50 Years of James Bond in Black Ties

The actual website, all about The Suits of James Bond, is being run by Matt Spaiser and the entire thing is dedicated to Bond's style. It includes breakdowns by each film and more on his fashion throughout the years. A few interesting nuggets he also mentions: "Though there are 28 dinner jackets, there are 29 shirts. George Lazenby wears two different ruffled shirts with the same dinner jacket in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Also, shoes are unfortunately missing from this infographic since they are rarely seen in the films." If you're a Bond fan like me, you probably have desired to be as good looking as he is, that means wearing the same sleek suits he wears. It's fun to see this kind of breakdown; if only I could afford one of these suits.

I want an infographic on the hours waisted on this infographic... ...what's next? Lightsabers? Droids? Breakdown of on-screen deaths of non-humans in Star Wars films?
