Disney Sets Reese Witherspoon to Star in Live-Action 'Tink' Movie
"Don't you understand, Tink? You mean more to me than anything in this whole world!" More Tinkerbell? Yep. THR is reporting that Reese Witherspoon has been cast in Disney's live-action film Tink, which will be another movie about Tinker Bell, to star Witherspoon. She will also help produce the project with her partner Bruna Papandrea at their company Pacific Standard. Alas, any plot details are unknown other than that the film is inspired by the world of the classic novel. That novel being "Peter and Wendy" written by J.M. Barrie, where the Tinker Bell character first originated from. No director is attached to this yet either.
The only other details provided about Disney's Tink are: the script is being written by Victoria Strouse (New Best Friend, Pixar's Finding Dory); and it "will play with the idea and the timeline of the well-known Peter Pan narrative." They also say it's being developed "in the vein of Maleficent," but with a more modest budget, essentially still a grand and spectacular story focused on Tinker Bell. It doesn't sound like they're going to rush this one, so don't expect it any time soon. It all comes down to how it plays out and who they get to direct, to help guide the movie as it develops. We'll keep an eye out for any updates on Disney's Tink.

Seems a bit old for Ms. Bell. (not that I don't think she's still smokin' - just seems like odd casting)
