Fantastic Four - Final Trailer

"You don't know anything about what's coming…" 20th Century Fox has debuted a new trailer, the final trailer, for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four movie. Yes, it's the best trailer yet, and finally makes this look like it might be pretty damn good. It also looks quite wild, including traveling to another dimension and massive battles on Earth and elsewhere, flying across space and time. We also finally get a good look at Dr. Doom, the villain, played by Toby Kebbell. The main line-up of the Fantastic Four - Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan & Jamie Bell - seem like a fun team, but I'm hoping the action delivers on all fronts. Only a few more weeks until this is in theaters, so get your last look below. Are you planning to go see this?

Here's the final trailer for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four, direct from 20th Century Fox's YouTube:

You can also still watch the first official trailer or second theatrical trailer for Fantastic Four after this one.

Fantastic Four is directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle) and written by Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past). The contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell star in the film which 20th Century Fox releases on August 7th. Well?

Not sure if marketing is keeping things under wraps, or if there simply isn't anything all that epic to show. I believe this will be a good movie but I don't think it will hang with the big boys.

I'm not sure what movies you're referring to when you say "the big boys". I think this is what fantasic four should have been in the first place and I haven't seen a marvel film that was any better than this is looking right now. no pun intended; but , this looks fantastic to me.

You know exactly what movies I am talking about when I say Big boys. There is a big differnce between looking fantastic and being fantastic. The avengers are both big boys in terms of critical reception and box office numbers. Of course this is what F4 should have been in the first place, those first two films were god awful.

bingo. and this doesn't look as good as what Marvel has been putting out, or what DC looks to be putting out in the future. granted, it looks a lot better than initial reports were but I agree, it's still just doesn't look like it's going to hang. Bat/supes, even Suicide squad is looking to be better and Deadpool, by far, will blow this out of the water. this trailer was filled with a bunch of cliche dialogue as well - I'm hoping that's not a sign of things to come.

I think they are dumping it too.

Oh, god what are "Premium Large Format Screens" (2:30)

Jay on Jul 14, 2015

Movie screens

Jason Scarpelli on Jul 14, 2015

The same screens as the past 20 years, just overpriced and over named. Digital IMAX, Titan XC, RPX... fancy new names for adding 5-10 feet to the screens. (No not literally, but if the can exaggerate so can I)

Thumbs up for Homer Simpson (Dan Castellaneta) as the school teacher.

Hulk already smashed a tank.

This actually looks awesome. People nitpicking every little detail and bashing every single thing is just pitiful. Give the movie a chance. Besides this is 110% better than the previous version.

Why? We've already seen it. This trailer showed us the entire movie and I'm not even exaggerating. Should've kept all the new footage out and just a glimpse of Doom. The first two showed plenty, everyone over the age of 8 (who would go to see a FF movie) know what's going to happen, so this was way too much. And to be fair, it does look good. Generic and cliche, but I have faith in the Director and Actors to pull it off.

I'm actually excited for the interdimensional travel hook. If Marvel ever gets the rights back to the FF, interdimensional travel will be the way to bring them into the world. I also think Reed Richards will make an excellent Marvel villain. I think the feel to the film is awesome. I am a bit hesitant that the dialog seems canned.

This looks well made and I approve of the casting choices. However, as always, my main problem with the Fantastic Four is the actually characters themselves, none are truly engaging to me and I just don't find them to be "fantastic". I'm hoping for some impressive reviews to convince me to go to the movies but I'll probably wait for the Netflix rls.

Seems like we'll have to wait until Doctor Strange to actually get some straight up magic into the mix...

Neuromancer on Jul 14, 2015

well since magic isn't a part of F4...NO SHIT

It's a big part of Doom, though.

Dr. Doom looks better than I was expecting. I am still a little scared for it. Kind of seems like Fox is dumping it. But we will see how it pans out. I still have some hope for it.

There was a very clear shot of Dr. Doom in the first full trailer, in fact it was the EXACT SAME SHOT you used for the article headline. Why are you people acting like this is the first time you've seen him? What are you stupid or something?

davidshaw on Jul 14, 2015

Still looks terrible and boring. I smell a box office flop.

Really not getting all the hate for this. Looks pretty damn good to me.
