"It's time we fight back!" "You are the key, Tris." Summit has debuted the new trailer for The Divergent Series: Allegiant, starring Shailene Woodley as Tris. How about another young adult sci-fi adaptation trailer to compliment that other one from today? This one is yet another sequel in a franchise that is still somehow playing in theaters. The Divergent Series: Allegiant is the third movie in the "Divergent" series, and I'm already ready to move on. If it weren't for the cast, this wouldn't have my attention at all. It also stars: Theo James as Four, Zoƫ Kravitz, Miles Teller, Naomi Watts, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Jeff Daniels, Jonny Weston and Kate Winslet. If you're still interested in this series, catch the tease below.
Here's the first teaser trailer for Robert Schwentke's The Divergent Series: Allegiant, from YouTube:
Allegiant takes Tris [Shailene Woodley] and Four [Theo James] into a new world, far more dangerous than ever before. After the earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love. Allegiant is directed by Robert Schwentke (RED, R.I.P.D., Insurgent), from a script by Noah Oppenheim & Veronica Roth. Summit opens The Divergent Series: Allegiant in theaters March 18th, 2016 next year.

There are movies whose producers should be charged with very expensive price for what they have done. Since money invested in this could be much more used for someone who really needs it.

I have never seen one of these films. And I never will. They look boring. // Where is my ANAMORPHS movie?

Yeah, me neither. They look like the epitome of what I call formula films - basically a generic mash up of themes from a genre with nothing new or original to add. Even the actors appear bored.

We, movie public, should demand better. I want to know who the target demographic is for this?

What is it with these teenage 'survival' movies ?? I mean it's so so so so bad it's not even funny anymore. Hollywood is like the pop music these days, mostly producing shit.
