Full-Length Trailer for Lenny Abrahamson's 'Room' with Brie Larson

"Did you ever think you would be free?" After premiering at the Venice and Telluride Film Festivals to quite a bit of buzz, A24 has debuted the new full-length trailer for Room, from the filmmaker who gave us Frank. Brie Larson stars as "Ma", with Jacob Tremblay as her son, in a story of escape captivity that explores the boundless love between mother and child. The cast includes Joan Allen and William H. Macy. I saw the film myself at the Telluride Film Festival, and why I liked the first half, it overstayed its welcome by about 40 minutes. This trailer may seem like it's spoiling the film, but that's just the story in the film. Take a look.

Plot description from the TIFF 2015 guide: Escaping from the captivity in which they have been held for half a decade, a young woman and her five-year-old son struggle to adjust to the strange, terrifying and wondrous world outside their one-room prison. Room is directed by unique Irish filmmaker Lenny Abrahamson, of the films Frank and What Richard Did previously. The screenplay is written by Emma Donoghue, based on her own best-selling novel. The film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival later this year. A24 will release Abrahamson's Room in select US theaters later this fall. Interested?
