Watch: Condensed IMAX Trailer for Snyder's 'Batman v Superman'
"This means something… it's all some people have, it's all that gives them hope." Warner Bros has debuted a new IMAX trailer for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that is a condensed version of the new Comic-Con teaser. There are a few new shots of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in this one, which is cool to see, but it's still pretty much the same of what we've seen before. And same as before I think this looks awesome, way more exciting than what Marvel is doing. Henry Cavill plays Superman, Ben Affleck plays Batman, Amy Adams plays Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg plays Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons plays Alfred. This ends on a very cool shot that finally puts meaning to "The red capes are coming…"
Here's the new IMAX trailer for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, from WB/DC:
Zack Snyder's sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the DC Comics Universe will bring back Henry Cavill as Superman and introduce Ben Affleck as Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fisburne and Diane Lane are all reprising their roles from Man of Steel, while more new additions include Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also appear as Aquaman and there have been rumblings of Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next spring, March 25th, 2016. Seems to end on the same shot too instead of a shot that puts meaning to "the red capes are coming" like he said. Wrong link maybe?

Haha. No worries dude. Just puzzled me looking for the new stuff. It was definitely condensed though so you got that right. Don't let it get you down. 😉

There is small part of me, buried deep down, that wants to see a recut trailer with Drowinng Pool's "Bodies" played over it...I know, I am not a good man.

I wonder if Lex created the kryptonite. Also why wouldn't Superman do anything with Zods body. LOL. I wonder if he even helped clean up the mess he made.

Well, I like the idea of deconstructing goodness of Superman. And, of course, I really, really, like his superpowers ...

it appears this is the 1st installment of the dark , grittier DC heroes ... With the morality play of a superhero gone amuck , who can only be stopped by another legend ..... and Lex , who apparently scooped up all the meteorite rocks , in Smallville ....

Hahahaha, I guess. If we take that Superman represents America nowadays, what does Batman represent? Oh, Lex Luthor must be some corrupt congressman who lost on the elections or something ...

ahh but the story seems to be Supes Gets An Attitude . So he is the villian hating on "the teeming masses" of the country (world maybe ) , and Affleck's Batman is the old grizzled coot , who wants to teach this youngster a thing or two .... i.e. Bats is America .. and Lex is young here , so he's the young techster who owns the world already ....

That's possible, too. We'll see how this ends up ... But, I also would like to stress that Supes looks like he needs some good deconstructing of his symbolic role (not just his super-strong one) in this world ... And I'm not sure if Bats is up to that ... Like I said, we'll see ... From that point, Lex Luthor looks like a distraction. And don't really see the reason for Wonder Woman to show up ...

Strange, a movie starring Bats and Supes, and yet I only care for Wonder Woman... ...strange indeed.
