It's Time to 'Run All Night' with Liam Neeson in First Thriller Trailer

"I'm the only one who ever cared about you, and all of that ended an hour ago when you killed my son." If you're seeing Taken 3 this weekend, then you might wonder how they were able to get Taken 4 done in time in order to get a trailer finished and in theaters. But this is Run All Night, where Liam Neeson plays a former mobster who just got his former employer (Ed Harris) on his bad side by killing his son. So now the ex-boss is coming after his own son (Joel Kinnaman), and if they're going to survive, they have to run all night (whoa!). It looks like standard action thriller flare, and there's also a Google glass bad guy? Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Jaume Collet-Serra Run All Night direct from YouTube:
Run All Night is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown, Non-Stop) and written by Brad Ingelsby (Out of the Furnace). Brooklyn mobster and prolific hit man Jimmy Conlon (Liam Neeson), once known as The Gravedigger, has seen better days. Longtime best friend of mob boss Shawn Maguire (Ed Harris) is haunted by the sins of his past—as well as a dogged police detective who’s been one step behind Jimmy for 30 years. And when Jimmy’s estranged son, Mike (Joel Kinnaman), becomes a target, Jimmy must make a choice between the crime family he chose and the real family he abandoned long ago. Nick Nolte, Vincent D’Onofrio and more also star in the film Warner Bros. Pictures releases on April 17th. Interested yet?

I like LIam but come on dude. Maybe something new and not the same action stuff? Id love to see him more in period movies again like the Imitation game for example.

Very nice. Visually, the direction in this looks slick. Even though I thought the director's last movie Non-Stop was a disappointing, I'm still gonna see this. I haven't seen any of the Taken movies, so from my perspective Liam is still fresh in these types of roles. A Walk Among the Tombstones is one of my favourites from last year, so I'm looking forward to something similar in tone. It doesn't look quite as dark but it'll do.

A Walk Among The Tombstones was a bland and depressing snooze fest. Scott Frank should stick to what he does best - writing screenplays.

With the exception of Unknown, Jaume Collet-Serra is a solid director. Still hoping he gets a shot at the live action version of Akira.

Liam Neeson is halfway to buying his spaceship....only a few more bad action movies and he'll have enough cash...

Exactly. What could have been a not very interesting generic action flick is saved by Neeson each and every time. I see movies just because of him that I otherwise wouldn't have spend a minute on. Well, wait, in this case there is a second solid reason: Harris!

This is a remake of a French movie called "Nuit Blanche" that was pretty awesome. Why isn't it mentioned in the article?

Slowly but surely I'm getting tired of Liam Neeson's films... More and more they all look same... And getting worse with every new installment ...
