Jeremy London & Ethan Suplee Confirmed to Return for 'Mallrats 2'

Earlier this week, Kevin Smith confirmed the return of Jason Lee and Shannen Doherty reprising their character in Mallrats 2. At the time, Smith was touting that he still had six to go, and it looks like two more have been locked down. Jeremy London, who played the pining ex-boyfriend of Claire Forlani in the original 1995 film, will be back as T.S. Quint. We're not sure where his relationship stands after the two got married at the end of the original Mallrats, but we'll surely find out. In addition, one of the memorable side characters from the mall will be back with Ethan Suplee back as William, who finally saw that sailboat.

It sounds like every character fans remember from the original film will be back, and Smith still has four more people he's planning on bringing back. My bet is that Smith still has to get back Renée Humphrey as Tricia, Joey Lauren Adams as Gwen, Claire Forlani as Brandi and, dare I say, Ben Affleck as Fashionable Male employee Shannon. As daunting as the latter might seem now that Affleck is Batman, the actor hasn't had any problem making time for a little appearance in Smith's movies. And while the cast is being rounded up, we'll be waiting to hear any details about the story.
