If you're planning a vacation somewhere soon and you've always wanted to visit the filming locations of some of your favorite movies, then you'll want to check out the Ultimate Movie Location Map. The folks over at Musement.com have put together a pretty expansive global map that shows you where some of your favorite movies were shot on-location. For example, you can check out Nakatomi Tower in Los Angeles, check out Nolan's Wayne Manor in the United Kingdom at Nottingham's Wollaton Hall, or see where the helicopter crashed in The Matrix at BT Tower in Australia. There are over a thousand listings on the map.
Here's a small embed of the movie location map that Musement.com created (found via Shortlist):
Check out a previous alternate movie location map we posted awhile back right here.
You'll find that the major cities around the world have the most comprehensive filming locations to visit. However, some of these places may not be so easy to access depending on security. Some of them are also government buildings, businesses or private homes, also making it harder to recreate any scene you might want for a good photo to post on Facebook or Twitter. But there are plenty of locations on there that are used to getting cinephile tourists. Either way, it's probably best to do your research about these locations and make calls when necessary so you don't waste your valuable vacation time. Happy hunting! Favorites?

Cool that some one took the time to make this. I personally, would not need to see a physical place from film (except Hobbiton, of couse), but I understand the appeal.
