New 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Trailer Arrives on Thursday, March 5th

The Avengers: Age of Ultron

Following a tease last week from Robert Downey Jr. about a big announcement coming eight days from last Wednesday, it sounds like we finally know what Marvel Studios has in store. A tease on television has revealed that a new trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron will arrive on Thursday, March 5th during the series premiere of ABC's new drama series "American Crime." Since ABC is owned by Disney, it's not surprising to see synergy at work here to get as many eyes as possible on one of their promising new midseason series. The question is just what kind of new footage we'll see in this new trailer. Maybe Vision?

Here's a low quality teaser advertising the trailer premiere coming on Thursday (via CBR):

You can still watch the most recent trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron again right here.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron is written & directed by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Serenity). Earth's mightiest heroes must once again assemble when a super intelligent robot created by Tony Stark created to help fight any threats that might harm the world actually turns against him and the human race. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson all return in the sequel to Marvel's The Avengers with new names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen joining the team. Disney & Marvel release the film this summer on May 1st. You ready?

No more trailers for me...I'm already sold.

I feel the same way. I really feel like another trailer is unnecessary at this point.

Aj Meadows on Mar 3, 2015

Yup. First trailer was king. Second didn't add so much. A third is not needed.

Nash on Mar 3, 2015

I concur

TheOct8pus on Mar 3, 2015

Been sold, needed 0 trailers.

Big R on Mar 3, 2015

I don't really want to watch another one either. Just release it.

OfficialJab on Mar 3, 2015

I can't belive we have just under 2 months to go. I'm so excited, will be there opening day. I don't want to see Vision in this new him for the movie.

Big R on Mar 3, 2015

I'm with you, Big R. I just want the movie. No more trailers, and let's save Vision for a big reveal in the movie.

TheOct8pus on Mar 3, 2015

I can understand that they want to use The Avengers to draw eyeballs to something like American Crime...but I would have liked to see the trailer debut with the season return of Agents of SHIELD.

Chris Groves on Mar 3, 2015

I think I'll have to avoid this for fear of witnessing any memorable moments which might negatively impact on the final viewing of the film.

Payne by name on Mar 3, 2015

I'm kinda disappointed that this is the "big news" that Downey Jr was talking about.

TheOct8pus on Mar 3, 2015

This may not be the big news. I was reading on Screenrant, the big news could be Iron Man's involvement in the new, solo Spidey movie.

JBroti on Mar 3, 2015

That would be sweet....but I feel kinda weird about Marvel's Iron man being in Sony's Spider Man.

TheOct8pus on Mar 4, 2015

I cannot believe what most of you are saying on here about this next upcoming trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. I for one, am pretty darn excited to see another trailer! And that is whether there is any new footage of Vision or any other new footage from the movie in the next upcoming trailer or not. Spoilers don't really bother me at all because I tend to forget about it after about a month or so, lol. Also, Of course they were not going to release this new upcoming trailer with another Agents of Shield, like they did with another one of the previous trailers because they already did that. It is better to show it with something different, so that it doesn't make ABC look desperate to advertise Marvel's Agents of Shield.

Is it thursday yet?

redskulllives on Mar 3, 2015

No, It will be Thursday in 2 days. Or were you just saying that in anticipation for the next trailer?

Sean on Mar 3, 2015

The latter. Obviously.

JBroti on Mar 3, 2015

Yeah, I think you're right, lol.

Sean on Mar 3, 2015

Its finally here 😀

redskulllives on Mar 4, 2015

Considering how well the first one did, I honestly don't think they need to post anything new.

Nick Sears on Mar 3, 2015

The first was good enough for me. I'm holding out till May, like a partial movie virgin.

mooreworthy on Mar 3, 2015

At this point, since we're two months away from the movie.....I kind of don't want to see Vision in the trailers. We know he's here and we know what he's going to look like (pretty faithful to the comics) and we know his origin is going to be different...I'd rather now wait to be amazed. But I do hope this new trailer really digs into the story instead of just action. Maybe more dialogue from Ultron and less Hulk vs Hulkbuster.

My last paycheck was 5k dollars for working 12 hours a week doing a home based job. Sisters friend averages about $11000 monthly for a while now and she works about 20 hrs weekly. I couldn't beleive how easy it was when I tried it. The sky is limit here... Here Is what I do>
