Phil Lord & Chris Miller Officially Writing Treatment for 'The Flash'
After hearing that The LEGO Movie and 21 Jump Street franchise directing duo Phil Lord & Chris Miller were wanted for both a new Ghostbusters movie at Sony Pictures and the DC Comics cinematic universe title The Flash at Warner Bros. Pictures, they've officially joined one of those projects. Deadline reports Lord & Miller will be writing the treatment for The Flash, the super speedy character who currently has his own television series on The CW. And while the studio really wants Lord & Miller to direct as well, it remains to be seen if they'll end up behind the camera as they're still figuring out what they want to do next. Read on!
Even if Lord & Miller don't end up directing The Flash, having them write the treatment is just a great place to start as they've done brilliant work on everything they've worked on, from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs to last year's 22 Jump Street. Warner Bros. is undoubtedly sweet on Lord & Miller after they churned out the masterful, surprise hit that was The LEGO Movie, which is now spawning a whole universe of films that include Ninjago and LEGO Batman spin-offs, as well as a mystery project with Jason Segel called Billion Brick Race. I'm now more excited for The Flash than Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

I am more excited for Ninjago movie than I ever was "excited" for The Lego Movie. Haters gotta hate.
