Ryan Gosling Heads Back to Disney for del Toro's 'Haunted Mansion'
Like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling got his start on Disney's "The Mickey Mouse Club" as a child star. Since then, he's become quite the heartthrob and an amazing talent on the big screen, and now he's headed back to the House of Mouse. The Wrap reports Gosling is currently in talks to take a role in Guillermo del Toro's long developing adaptation of Haunted Mansion, the classic Disney theme park attraction. The project has been in the works for years ever since del Toro made the announcement at Comic-Con back in 2010. Can it finally come together soon?
There's no timetable for the project, but if the studio is starting to round up a cast, then it might be closer to getting in front of cameras than we thought. There's no word on what role Gosling would take, or even what the story would be beyond focusing on the titular spooky residence, but the prospect of del Toro working with the Ides of March and Drive star is good enough for now. The two were even seen hanging out at Disneyland during Academy Awards weekend, riding the Haunted Mansion as well as Space Mountain and more. Here's hoping we get some more details on The Haunted Mansion sometime soon.

GOOD MATCH. Gosling's acting style could seriously work in a Del Toro film.

Didn't Eddie Murphy star in a Haunted Mansion film (that sucked)?
