Jurassic World: A Look Inside

"Just like taking a stroll through the woods… 65 million years ago." Universal is going all out! Not only putting John Hammond's voice in one of their latest TV spots for Jurassic World (and this video), but now they've released an entire featurette featuring Steven Spielberg talking about this new movie. A new featurette has hit the web and not only does it have Spielberg, there's actually lots of new footage, or at least a few interesting bits they haven't shown before. There's a better shot of the gate (see above), lots of new shots of the raptors, a cool look inside the main building, some new action beats, and that moment with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard at the truck at the end. I must say, I am really excited to see this.

Here's the latest featurette for Jurassic World - An Inside Look, direct from Universal's YouTube:

You can also re-watch the newest, second trailer for Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World by going here.

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), who rewrote the script with Derek Connolly from an earlier draft by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). No plot details are available yet, but the film has been said to feature a new operational dinosaur theme park, just as John Hammond imagined over 20 years ago. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B.D. Wong, reprising his role from Jurassic Park. Universal will open Jurassic World this June 12th. You in?

That clip with Chris Pratt talking like a frat boy with Bryce Dallas Howard was cringe-worthy.

The part where Pratt's character is caressing the muzzled raptor...LOL.

I started with little interest in seeing this movie, but now the more I seeing the more I interest. Maybe it's nostalgia.

At least the CGI has become more impressive since the first debut trailer. I remember when people were complaining over bad (and obviously) unfinished CGI. Now when I look at it, it all looks absolutely gorgeous. I'll be there midnight, that's all that matters. This will be a great film. This is still the only movie since it's trailers have been playing in theaters that I hear the entire audience get stirred up in excitement the moment it starts to play and even louder after it ends.

Even if it turns out only moderately well made I'll be happy being back in Jurassic Park seeing dinosaurs! Of course it's still going make tons of cash and get a sequel regardless of the reviews, audiences will come in droves. Fingers crossed it'll be good!

Dinosaurs attacking people, cool... A billionare using all that science just to build an Amusement Park off the coast of Costa Rica... stupid, still can't get over that.
