The Future Belongs to the Mad on New 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Poster

Mad Max: Fury Road

Hot on the heels of last week's new trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, a new poster for the positively insane blockbuster has arrived. This one showcases our two leads, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, in the middle of the desert craziness we've seen on display in the trailers. While the tagline is cool, the way it appears on the poster feels like a last minute addition, and it may have even been better without it. Also, if you've been paying attention to the trailers, it looks like Max may need some serious rescuing, and that's where Theron's badass character Furiosa comes into play. Maybe Theron is the real hero of the story. Look!

Here's the new poster for George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road from IMP Awards:

You can still watch the latest trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road right here.

Mad Max: Fury Road is a reboot of the adventure franchise that began with Mad Max in 1979, starring Mel Gibson. George Miller, the director of the original film and its sequel, is back behind the camera, working from a script he co-wrote with first-time writer Nick Lathouris. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There’s Max (Tom Hardy) a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. Meanwhile, Furiosa (Charlize Theron) is a woman of action who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland. Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and more star in the film Warner Bros. Pictures releases this summer on May 15th. Ready?

It's not, how to say, easy enough for todays audience. It will propably do nicely but brake records? I hope it does. By far my most expected film this year.

I bet Nic Holt is going to steal this movie. His character looks like an absolute riot.
