"Once there was a young prince whose father, the king of the East, sent him down into Egypt to find a pearl…" Malick! While we wait for the upcoming theatrical release of (one of) Terrence Malick's new films, Knight of Cups, a mesmerizing new behind-the-scenes featurette has debuted. With some glimpses of the actual filming, as well as scenes and clips of interviews, this featurette reminds us all why we should still be paying attention to Malick. Christian Bale stars with Natalie Portman, Teresa Palmer, Wes Bentley and Isabel Lucas. I saw the film at the Berlin Film Festival this year, and after watching this, it really hit me in the gut how much I loved this film and can't wait to see it again. Dive deep into Malick's mind below.
Here's the first official featurette for Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups, found via The Film Stage:
A screenwriter living in LA tries to make sense of the strange events occurring around him. Knight of Cups is the latest film written & directed by critically acclaimed American filmmaker Terrence Malick, of the must see films Badlands, Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line, The New World, The Tree of Life and To the Wonder previously. Aside from Bale, Blanchett & Portman, the cast includes: Brian Dennehy, Antonio Banderas, Freida Pinto, Wes Bentley, Isabel Lucas, Teresa Palmer, Imogen Poots, Armin Mueller-Stahl and the voice of Ben Kingsley. Malick's Knight of Cups premiered at the 2015 Berlin Film Festival in February this year, and will be opening in select US theaters in March of 2016. See the first trailer + read our review.

Did you really have to point out his typo? You seriously come off looking like a major troll because of that.

The irony of this post is off the chart. Learn the basics of punctuation if you're gonna call anyone else out for anything. Irony and hypocrisy had a baby and named it "Bo".

Lucas and Palmer are two Australian actors that just have not had much success in Hollywood. It is good Bale is there to draw the crowds. Malick is always worth seeing, for nothing else but his audacity and vision.
