Anna Kendrick Indiana Jones

"Make sure that's the one!" This Thursday (May 21st) it will be "Red Nose Day", a major charity event held to "have fun, raise money and change the lives of children living in poverty in the U.S. and in some of the poorest communities around the world." It centers around wearing a red nose to spread laughter, but NBC is also hosting their own big TV special on Thursday night to raise money. It will feature all kinds of celebrity appearance, funny sketches and more. One of them debuted online early (via SlashFilm) and features the amazingly talented Anna Kendrick playing Indiana Jones in one of the scenes from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the one where he drinks water from the Holy Grail. It's an amusing riff on that scene.

Thanks to NBC for this video, try watching on their site if you're having trouble viewing above. "More stars are joining NBC's star-studded charity event 'Red Nose Day' on Thursday, May 21 (8-11 p.m. ET) to have fun, raise money and change the lives of children living in poverty in the U.S. and in some of the poorest communities around the world. In addition to great comedy, videos produced by Funny Or Die, incredible music performances and almost 100 of Hollywood’s favorite stars, the benefit event will also feature short appeals films that shed light on those in need." This was most likely one of the Funny Or Die videos, and there will probably be more funny sketches coming soon. Just some good comedy to make us laugh & smile.

Was expecting something funnier.

Americans are aware of Red Nose Day? I thought this was just a UK charity thing.

This I believe summarizes my reaction.

That's how I feel about most of the internet right now... 🙂 Trying to find that which is not is not easy.

I blame it on all the recently cool movies coming out.

So Indiana Jones but starring a mouse, kinda like Rescuers or something?

I would be interested in a reboot of Indy where the role was played by a woman. They shouldn't change the name or anything else. Just the gender.
