Road Wars

"You want to get through this?… Do as I say." Awesome! Mash up the excellent Mad Max: Fury Road with Star Wars and you get this - Road Wars: The Imperator Strikes Back. Created by Krishna Shenoi, this fun mash-up YouTube trailer combines the full Mad Max: Fury Road trailer with sleek Star Wars bits and it's kind of amazing. A bit like Fury Road if it were set on Tatooine instead, complete with the sand people taking pot shots, and Tie Fighters, and lightsabers, and the Sarlacc pit of course. I'm glad there's a shot or two of the pod racers tossed in, because they kind of fit perfectly as well. Nice work on this mash-up.

Thanks to SlashFilm for the tip on this. Description from YouTube: What if the world of Mad Max: Fury Road was part of the Star Wars universe? Created/edited by Krishna Shenoi on YouTube. At the San Diego Comic-Con last week, it was exciting to see so many fans already dressed in Mad Max costumes from the new Fury Road movie. As much as I love that movie, this trailer just makes me more excited for all the Star Wars coming up. Not only The Force Awakens, but the other spin-off movies in the works. Some of the shots used in this mash-up come directly from the footage in the new Star Wars film. What did you think of this?

Damn, now I'm thinking that George Miller should definitely direct a Star Wars movie.

That would be justice to the series and highly doubt Disney would want a rated R star wars - but I'm with you fella's that would be amazing to see, space and other planets are deadly, never felt that from Lucas, but the Dark Horse and KOTOR canon's are ... George Miller knows action and Star Wars needs a treatment like this...

I literally was watching Furiosa last night and thought how uncanny the wide shots felt like Tattooine glad someone else thought so also
