"Two brothers walked a single trail…" It's time to get in the Halloween mood with a horror short film. This one is titled The Storybook Killer directed by Andrew Vallentine, and it just premiered online thanks to Amplify and YouTube star Ricky Dillon, who stars in the short film as one of the main characters. The horror short is about a group of friends who go looking for a long lost brother at a nearby theme park, only to end up being killed one-by-one. The dialogue is a bit cheesy, but this is an effective and interesting horror short with some fun kills. The cast includes Ashley Argota, Meg DeAngelis, Josh Leyva, and Cody Saintgnue.
Description from YouTube: "Four friends return to an abandoned fairytale theme park seeking answers to a mysterious disappearance from years before." This is an original short film for Ricky Dillon's YouTube, shot on location at the Enchanted Forest theme park in Oregon. The Storybook Killer is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Andrew Vallentine (official website), of one of Adele's music videos previously. The screenplay is written by Whitney Milam, produced by Milan, Vallentine & Dillon. Full credits and more info on the production can be found in notes on YouTube. As always, you can watch even more short films here.

What can i say? It wasn't realy bad, but indeed the dialogue and acting are very bad. The place is indeed a good one, with more money it could work....

Jesus... that acting was abysmal. So professionally shot. The quality, the angles, the music. All ruined by horrid acting. We're these people cast or did the guy just ask his friends?

Location was great. Anyone know if this place exists? The story, really predictable. Maybe not for a viewer in the 70's but now, pretty bad. Whole thing was very average but again... the setting was great.

Was this suppost to be a comedy? The dude's earring, hair, and lisp were hilarious. If not, sorry!

This was the worst Short Film you guys have every posted. From the actors, to the story, to the shitty screams and obvious twists. What do you need to feel like you can post short films, cause I have a way better short film than this.
