Watch: New 'I'm Alive' TV Spot for Ridley Scott's Sci-Fi 'The Martian'
"I'll never stop fighting to make it home." This is easily one of my most anticipated movies coming up this fall, so I'm happy to keep posting some cool promos. This time it's another new TV spot (following the latest trailer) for Ridley Scott's sci-fi The Martian, starring Matt Damon as Mark Watney, and the spot comes in at 60 seconds. There's lots of new footage, lots of old footage, everything together making this look absolutely amazing. Of course, we should be cautiously optimistic since it is Ridley Scott, but at least there are some cool FX, and Watney's story seems worth exploring. Co-starring Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Kristen Wiig, Jessica Chastain, Sean Bean, Michael Peña, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor. Enjoy.
Here's the extended TV spot titled "I'm Alive" for Ridley Scott's The Martian, from 20th Century Fox:
The Martian is directed by Ridley Scott (Alien, Gladiator, Prometheus) and written by Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods). Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) became one of the first people to walk on Mars. But after a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive—and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. But Mark isn’t ready to give up yet. Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover, Sebastian Stan and more star in the film. 20th Century Fox will release The Martian this fall starting October 2nd.
Wait...there's a movie with Matt Damon in Mars? Way to completely ruin the movie.

Really? because I have no idea how he got in to Mars. A giant drill perchance?

Giant? I guess that rules your equipment out.

It's going to be a fun moment when they show how he fertilizes the potatoes.
