Spectre TV Spot

"Bond, James Bond." A new TV spot has been uploaded online for James Bond's Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes, starring Daniel Craig as Agent 007. The teaser for Spectre didn't show much, and most of that footage is in here, but there's also a bit of some extra teases in this. And I really like what we're seeing. It starts with that interesting discussion with Naomie Harris, or Moneypenny, talking about how Bond has a secret he can't tell anyone. Then there's an appearance by Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, which is when he delivers that iconic line. Between Léa Seydoux and Bellucci, one of these two has to be working for the bad guy. Dave Bautista gets a quick appearance, though I'm sure more is coming soon in the next trailer.

Here's the new extended TV spot for Sam Mendes' Spectre, found on YouTube | for more head to 007.com:

Spectre is directed by Sam Mendes (Skyfall, Revolutionary Road, Road to Perdition, American Beauty) and written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wave with John Logan, all with James Bond franchise experience. A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation, Spectre. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre. Daniel Craig returns as 007 along with Ralph Fiennes as the new M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. New cast members include Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista and Lea Seydoux. Sony Pictures will release Spectre in theaters on November 6th, 2015 this fall.

Can't wait until idris Elba is the new James bond! This looks fine by the way but I wasn't impressed by skyfall, but I have good hopes Mendez get's it right this time...

awh, you don't like Craig?

I like him but idris more...

ari smulders on Jun 9, 2015

Fair enough. I'm a huge fan of Craig's Bond and I think Idris would be great, but I personally think Michael Fassbender would be better ^.^

Hasn't Craig got another one after this? Or is this the last in his contract? I'd love Idris to get it, highly doubt it though. As far as the UK as come with representation of minorities, women, differing social status and sexuality in media... still not sure we're ready for a Black James Bond.

I don't care if bond is black, white or yellow and most people I think! We live in a multicultural europe and everybody is the same. The only thing needed is that the new bond can act, and idris Elba is a great actor with a mountain of charisma. I realy do hope so...

ari smulders on Jun 10, 2015

I agree with you completely! And that's very easy to say, but Bond is still very much a British staple/property/legacy, steeped in 60 years of history. The choice of Bond is always incredibly contested/debated/discussed here, the amount of fuss over making him a blonde with blue eyes was insane, so you can imagine what would happen if Elba was genuinely and seriously considered, let alone given the role. So while I think it would be incredible for him to be chosen, if the decision was going to be made, I just don't think it would happen. If Craig has a film or two left, then that gives us some time. Elba as Bond would be so awesome!

The producers are already considering him to be the new bond! I realy do think people are open minded besides they who see behind every tree a black man or Muslim, but they are in big minority. Half of London is from immigrants, Rotterdam too. And Bond is universal a accepted person. No idris would realy be perfect...

Looks good. Still. SF left a sour taste in my mouth. I know, i know...I'm in the minority but I just did not like it. Of course here we have Waltz and Bellucci, so far so good.

Sascha Dikiciyan on Jun 9, 2015

So far this looks awesome!

Rogue Nation still looks better...

Why would they show the "Bond, James Bond"-line?

Nielsen700 on Jun 10, 2015

They definitely "sweetened" John Hurts, "You're a kiTe dancing in a hurricane, Mr. Bond." line. Still looks terrific.

DAVIDPD on Jun 10, 2015

FYI that's Jesper Christensen (Mr. White), not John Hurt.

kuzosake on Jun 10, 2015

Oh, that's right.

DAVIDPD on Jun 10, 2015

Okay, all of you folks that are aching to to see a black James Bond. I say, not until we see a white Shaft. ("shut yo mouth...but I'm just talking about Shaft!")

kitano0 on Jun 10, 2015

Honestly, I don't think its so much about just "having a black Bond" for the sake of it. The discussion started because a lot of folks consider Idris Elba the next best/great candidate to take over the role... and of course (with this being the world we live in), people have felt the need to justify that opinion. Your suggestion of a "white Shaft" is hilarious, but ultimately a little different to this conversion.

T. Hakeem on Jun 12, 2015

Anyone else has a feeling that they might add a "new" twist where Blofield is a cousin or brother of James? Sure hope not...

Brustbaer on Jun 10, 2015

Monica Belluci would have been a great Bond girl... 20 years ago.

James Blund on Jun 10, 2015

Or now... 😉

T. Hakeem on Jun 12, 2015

Sorry no Black Bond, It`s bad enough he went from spy to action hero.
