"It reaches everyone." Gravitas Ventures has release the full-length official trailer for Jason Aron's Back in Time, the new documentary about Back to the Future. We first featured a trailer for this back in March when the film was still looking for funding through Kickstarter. Aron's documentary focuses on the impact that the film has had, and the success it has achieved, connecting with so many fans all over the world. It looks like a fun, if not lightweight doc, that celebrates so many of the people and artists behind the film. And of course, all the people who love the film, too. There's some excellent clips and footage about the DeLorean, lots of interviews with the likes of Zemeckis & Spielberg, and more. It's time to go back to the future again.
Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Jason Aron's doc Back in Time, in high def from Apple:
The documentary Back in Time is, at its heart, a look at the very real impact the Back to the Future movies have had on our culture. What was once a little idea that spawned a tightly-focused documentary has grown into something truly amazing over two years of filming. Back in Time is a cinematic monument to the vastness of the trilogy’s fandom. In addition to the footage and interviews revolving around the time machine itself, the crew found that simply by delving into the impact of the trilogy an epic journey began to unfold before them. From Steven Spielberg to Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, to the Sheas and Hollers, and from James Tolkan and Lea Thompson to Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox, Back in Time features interview after interview that simply must be seen. Back in Time is directed by Jason Aron, and was initially funded on Kickstarter. Gravitas will release Back in Time in theaters on October 21st this fall.

It will be interesting to see if Spielberg can convince Z to make another sequel or something. I think they could pull a great one off!~
