Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg in Trailer for 'Daddy's Home' Comedy
If you're interested, Paramount has debuted a trailer for Daddy's Home, a comedy starring Will Ferrell as a new step dad married to Linda Cardellini, and Mark Wahlberg as the "real father". The other day while updating our Release Schedule, I noticed this film was listed for Christmas Day, but there's not much talk about it. Well, here is the trailer, and you'll know why there's not much to say. It looks really bad. Plus, I don't know about everyone else, but this Christmas I'm planning to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens a few more times. If not Tarantino's The Hateful Eight. Anyway, if you're curious to see what Daddy's Home is all about - here you go. Featuring Thomas Haden Church, Paul Scheer and Alessandra Ambrosio. Enjoy.
Here's the first trailer for Sean Anders & John Morris' Daddy's Home, in high def from Apple:
Daddy's Home follows a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife's two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids. Daddy's Home is both written and directed by filmmakers Sean Anders & John Morris (the same guys who directed Sex Drive, That's My Boy, Horrible Bosses 2), from a story by Brian Burns, and a screenplay by Sean Anders, John Morris and Brian Burns. Paramount will be releasing Daddy's Home in theaters everywhere starting December 25th, Christmas Day, this holiday. If you're looking for anything else to see instead of this, consult the schedule.

This is the exact same trailer that was posted here earlier. Also, not really a fan of Star Wars, but I'll check out this and Hateful Eight happily.

Saw this trailer which inexplicably played before Inside Out and my 8 year old daughter leaned over halfway through and said "This movie looks AWFUL!" Couldn't agree with her more. Proud dad.

Ferrell should make a movie in which he acts drunk the entire time. His "drunk acting" is some of the best in the business.

So this is a prequel to The Other Guys?

Did you watch The Other Guys?

I'd watch it. I'd like for Ferrell and John C Reilly to link back up again sometime soon though.

Looks awful. One look at the director and it should have been obvious I guess...
