International Trailer for 'Ghostbusters' Offers Tons of New Footage

Following last week's first trailer for Paul Feig's reboot of Ghostbusters, a new international trailer has surfaced with a bunch of new footage. In addition to the expected paranormal extermination from Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, we finally get some dialogue from their secretary Kevin, played by Chris Hemsworth. He has some trouble trying to come up with a new logo for the Ghostbusters involving a couple modifications to the iconic ghost we all know and love. This one is definitely better than the first trailer, in my opinion, and I'm still hoping for this to be enjoyable. Watch it!
Here's the international trailer for Ghostbusters from Sony Pictures UK:

30 years after Ghostbusters took the world by storm, the beloved franchise makes its long-awaited return. Director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today. The upcoming Ghostbusters movie will star Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the new 'busters. The main villain is supposedly a "creepy mechanical genius". Michael Kenneth Williams and Andy Garcia also star. Sony Pictures will release this brand new Ghostbusters movie, directed by Paul Feig (of Unaccompanied Minors, Bridesmaids, The Heat, Spy) from a screenplay by Katie Dippold and Paul Feig, in theaters everywhere starting July 22nd this summer.

I fear that Hemsworth was the funniest one in this trailer. And he basically did nothing.

I really think this is way better then anything Aykroyd would come up with. I think we need to stop holding on to something that can not be repeated... Murray understands that.

I love all 4 of these comedians and was really looking forward to this, but after seeing 2 trailers it just seems weak and unfunny. Ghostbusters was an anomaly that worked only because those 3 guys worked so well together, it really isn't a generational franchise. The logo, suits, and proton packs aren't enough to make a good movie.

The main difference is that they are trying to be funny while the original just was because...you know. Better writing, better talent IMO. I have nothing against that they reversing the roles for women. Thats cool. But it just looks like the creators did not get what made the original so good. This looks forced and ultimately dumb. IMO.

There's one good thing coming from this: the fact I want to watch the original 2 again. In Bluray. Soon.

I`m very sorry to say this, and I should wait to see the full movie ofc, but this is really, really thin. Feels like a desperate spin off spinning so hard it never saw the original. Its cool that they want to make the soundtrack modern(its not cool at all actually) and I really appreciate the nostalgic piano intro awakening memories of the first one (it doesnt though.. it just feels forced) but seriously. The new generations needs to see the old movies, and you need to make new franchises for them. Not badly present them with a concept that worked well 25 years back crammed into some gender politics cgi orgie. Im probably gonna stand corrected at the premiere ofc (no i wont) but thats my 5 cents anyway.

Looking at this really bums me out that the original cast couldn't agree on a decent story. I mean so much potential and the old cast was so genius and had amazing chemistry. Too late now. This movie will come and go...
