Justice League

"With Justice League, you've really started to lay a foundation for a pretty expansive world…" DC is ready to challenge Marvel head on, and is introducing the next round of characters with short featurettes. Warner Bros hosted a special DC event on The CW last night, which is where the first footage from Wonder Woman also came from, and the new Suicide Squad trailer. In addition, plenty of new concept art has arrived for Zack Snyder's Justice League as well as extra footage from Batman v Superman. In the upcoming movies, Ezra Miller plays The Flash, Ray Fisher plays Cyborg, Jason Momoa plays Aquaman. Discussions with each are below, along with even more to see from the first Dawn of Justice film this March. Looking good?

Here's the three featurettes for other Justice League characters that will be introduced in Dawn of Justice:

Finally - here's a look at some extended footage from Zack Snyder's Dawn of Justice, also from The CW:

Zack Snyder's sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the DC Comics Universe will bring back Henry Cavill as Superman and introduce Ben Affleck as Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fisburne and Diane Lane are all reprising their roles from Man of Steel, while more new additions include Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also appear as Aquaman and there have been rumblings of Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next spring, March 25th, 2016. Meh. These look ok, but it's UNFORGIVABLE that they're not linking the shows and movies and they're 2 separate universes. DC can NEVER hope to challenge Marvel and the MCU.

Marvel has no tv show with one of its main protagonists. DC just started with the other way around. I'm a fan of the actors playing Arrow and Flash, but I'm getting used to the idea of having two different versions of the characters. Can't wait to see Aquaman though, looks awesome.

The Batman show is dog S.

You mean Gotham? Or are you aware of the psuedo Batman they made Arrow into?

Agents of Shield suffers a lot from the fact they are in the same Universe. Their problems seem so trivial considering the question of "Why didn't they just call the Avengers?" is always there.

Pft bahahaha!!!! Go to bed. Your GI joes will want you rested for playtime.

I agree. The characters are already flushed out in the show, just bring them in for their parts and then back to the show!? They are going to waste screen time trying to develop a thousand heros and villains in one movie and it is gonna suck. There is not enough time in a movie.

The movies would be horrible and nothing would ever happen on the shows! Let me know when the Marvel Iron Man TV show starts...

The more they show, the less I like this whole thing.

this ain't good... But hey who am i! Maybe it will be great movie, but having big doubts. Delay after delay, teaser after teaser, trailer after trailer isn't a good sign. Can someone tell me what it has to do at the box office to breakeven? The revenant cost 135 million dollars to make , but selling it 250 million??? So they need around 400 million to breakeven! So i am curious....

Ezra Miller!? Fuck yeah!

I am probably most excited by The Flash. I really enjoy Grant Gustin's take on the character, but this second season has shown some of the problems you have in TV. I hope the movie version of The Flash is already fully powered.

Do we need another superhero origin story? The plot synopsis is already the first season of the show. They should have incorporated characters from the show into these movies and not done stand alone rehashing of the same material over and over. (I'm also looking at you Spider-Man) But this attempt at a Marvel Universe from DC is gonna fail. Mark. My. Words.

I'm so much less excited about the DC universe since the full BvS trailer came out. The new Suicide Squad trailer was good but I feel like it was edited very creatively and didn't give me an impression of the final film too well.

Ever since Affleck got the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman for this movie I have just had really bad feelings on how this will turn out. Snyder is a great visual director but leaves so many plot holes in his films that they are hard to watch more than once because your like "How in the Hell did that even happen?" At least my thoughts anyway

Okay, why wouldn't they use the same Flash as the one that's on TV? I know it's only been 2 seasons but that would be like, lets make a Shield movie but without Michael Chiklis while the show was still fresh on the air.

Even more confusing, Agent Colson is in Agents of Shield and the Avengers movies, but not in "The Shield" with Chiklis! WHAAAAT?

I'm confused, was Aquaman always Neptune or just for this movie?
