New TV Spot for Marvel's 'Deadpool' Now with a Round House Kick

"Nobody's gettin' hurt!" Fox has debuted another ridiculous new TV spot for Tim Miller's Deadpool movie, adapted from the Marvel comic book character. There's a tiny bit of new footage – they're billing this as the hot new TV spot with a "Round House Kick"! – but this is also excellent because of the absurd bookends with Deadpool and the roses. They must've cut this for some Valentine's Day promo or something. Ryan Reynolds plays the Merc with a Mouth, joined by a cast including Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, + Andre Tricoteux as Colossus. I'm still looking forward to this! Looks like crazy fun.

Here's the new "Round House Kick" TV spot for Tim Miller's Deadpool movie, direct from Fox's YouTube:

Deadpool is directed by visual effects veteran Tim Miller, making his feature directing debut, with a script from Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Ryan Reynolds reprises the titular character he originated in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary known for his or his sarcastic, talkative nature and his tendency to break the fourth wall. The film will also include T.J. Miller ("Silicon Valley), Morena Baccarin ("Homeland"), Gina Carano (Haywire) and Ed Skein (The Transporter Refueled). This was filmed mostly in Vancouver. Fox will release Deadpool on February 16th next month.

haha!! I'm still skeptical....

Each to their own. I'm genuinely looking forward to it now after the last full trailer.

My mom, who knows nothing of Deadpool, and couldn't understand why my 13 y/o & I were looking forward to it, is now firmly onboard after watching the 2nd,IMAX, Xmas Eve & Xmas Day trailers. If you can get someone who knows nothing about a comic book character interested in seeing a film, you're doing something right - even if the final product sucks.

The fact that we get an R-rated Deadpool is enough for me, and the trailers look good to me, not great... I still remember your thoughts on Guardians of the Galaxy Ari, remember how that turned out, haha

Enola on Jan 11, 2016

omg! it will haunt me until i die! But it's necessary to say i wasn't familiar with the Guardians, and Deadpool i know better. And i don't like Ryan Reynolds, maybe that's the answer. Not badass enough for me...

ari smulders on Jan 11, 2016

Don't really get why people hate on Reynolds... I don't know much at all about Deadpool, but from the trailer he seems a pretty good fit for a wise cracking badass. Who would you cast instead though if you had a choice?

It was cut from the promo spot they inserted during "The Bachelor" reality show as a parody on it.

Not sure about this one....I'll have to wait for reviews, word-of-mouth, and popular reception....

I wish they would show a new scene...still looks pretty good though.

Plz let Hugh Jackman be in this.

Ry on Jan 12, 2016

Truthfully, I'd be extremely surprised if Hugh doesn't do a cameo somewhere in here, even if it's a post-credit blip. Otherwise, the #12daysofdeadpool on day 11 w/ a modified Wolverine 3 poster makes zero sense.
