Second Trailer for 'Nine Lives' Featuring Kevin Spacey as a Talking Cat
"Mr. Fuzzypants? Look!" From the director of the Men in Black movies comes this wacky comedy - Nine Lives. We featured the first trailer for this in January, but that just a teaser. This full trailer shows more of the story involving Kevin Spacey, a wealthy executive at the top of his game, who gets turned into a cat. Yes, you read that right. Christopher Walken plays the goofy pet store owner who turns him into a cat and he ends up adopted by his own family, learning lessons about living life and spending time with them. The cast includes Robbie Amell, Jennifer Garner, Teddy Sears and Cheryl Hines. This gets particularly crazy when the cat starts doing odd things that only humans can do, but it's all being played for laughs. Have fun.
Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) is a daredevil billionaire at the top of his game. But Tom's workaholic lifestyle has disconnected him from his family, particularly his wife Lara (Jennifer Garner) and daughter Rebecca (Malina Weissman). Rebecca's 11th birthday is here, and she wants a cat. Tom hates cats but needs a gift. He finds a mystical pet store where the owner, Felix Perkins (Christopher Walken), presents him with a tomcat named Mr. Fuzzypants. En route to his daughter's party, Tom has a terrible accident. When he wakes he discovers he is trapped in the body of the cat. Adopted by his own family, he begins to experience his life through a new perspective. Nine Lives is directed by veteran filmmaker Barry Sonenfeld (of Get Shorty, Men in Black 1-3, Wild Wild West, Big Trouble, RV and Dead Boss previously). EuropaCorp USA and Relativity will release Nine Lives in theaters everywhere starting August 5th later this year. Thoughts?
This. Looks. TERRIBLE.
