Kylo Ren - Undercover Boss

"Do you guys believe when he says he's going to finish what Darth Vader started?" It's not often we feature something from "Saturday Night Live", but this Star Wars sketch actually made me laugh, it's one of their best skits in a while. Actor Adam Driver hosted the most recent episode of SNL and, of course, everyone knows he plays dark side-advocate Kylo Ren in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. So, for one of the sketches, they had Driver dress down as a "radar technician" and go undercover in Starkiller Base for an episode of "Undercover Boss". The way they dress Driver is perfect, but the rest of it is also hilarious. Enjoy!

Embedded directly from SNL's YouTube page (it might be blocked outside of the US - completely out of our control unfortunately). "Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) goes undercover as Matt, a radar technician, at Starkiller Base." Actor Adam Driver hosted "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, January 16th, 2016, and this was one of the sketches from that show. Driver plays the antagonist Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will be seen in Episode VIII in 2017. "Undercover Boss" is a TV show on CBS, where executives pretend to be regular employees to learn how to improve the company. This might be SNL's best sketch this season so far.

A man pretending to be a dude, pretending to be another dude.

DAVIDPD on Jan 17, 2016

Disguised as another dude?

Higgens on Jan 17, 2016

Exactly. "Undercover" means disguised.

disagree. They have some good sketches. Dont be a wanker. 🙂

Its fairly objective that SNL has been going down hill for a LONG while. The actors are not very funny, Driver carried this sketch, not the regulars.

Higgens on Jan 18, 2016

They have SOME funny sketches is what I said. Overall maybe so but there are some gems here and there.

Sascha Dikiciyan on Jan 18, 2016

That was gold

It's so dense. Every single frame has so many things going on.

Too soon

I can't stop watching this - it just so perfectly sums up how I felt about Kylo Ren in the movie and Driver really goes for it well. That said, it kinda makes a mockery of JJ Abrams hope that Kylo Ren would be seen as more of a badass than Vader lol

Dotpols on Jan 18, 2016

It was alright. Not the best sketch of the night, and certainly not the best all season. IMHO. I thought the "Dr. Rockhard" sketch was much funnier, bet went a little too long... (pun intended)

Adam Driver once again wows with his impeccable acting abilities...Can the man not do ANYTHING?!? <-(not sarcasm)
