The Witch Trailer

"There you are! Boo!" A24 has debuted another brand new trailer for their upcoming horror The Witch, directed by Robert Eggers, which originally premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015 and is just hitting theaters this month. Eggers has already moved on to start pre-production on his next film, a remake of Nosferatu, but in the meantime those anxiously awaiting this one only have a few more weeks to wait. Ralph Ineson stars as William, Kate Dickie stars as Katherine, in this vintage horror thriller set in New England in the 1600s about a family and the evil black goat named Phillip. This is the freakiest trailer yet.

Here's the latest "Peek A Boo" trailer for Robert Eggers' horror The Witch, direct from A24's YouTube:

New England, 1630: William and Katherine lead a devout Christian life, homesteading on the edge of an impassible wilderness, with five children. When their newborn son mysteriously vanishes and their crops fail, the family begins to turn on one another. 'The Witch' is a chilling portrait of a family unraveling within their own fears and anxieties, leaving them prey for an inescapable evil. The Witch is the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Robert Eggers, who also wrote the screenplay. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015. A24 will release Eggers' The Witch in select theaters on February 26th.
