Alice Through the Looking Glass TV Trailer

"You've been gone too long, Alice. And do mind your step…" Disney debuted a new 90-second TV trailer for the Alice in Wonderland sequel during the Grammys this year. We've already featured one teaser trailer and the Super Bowl TV spot for Alice Through the Looking Glass, directed by James Bobin, but this one has even more trippy, colorful footage of Alice's journey through time and space. The big bad villain in this one is Time, metaphorically and psychically manifested as a character played by Sacha Baron Cohen. In addition, everyone is back: Mia Wasikowska as Alice, the late Alan Rickman as the Blue Caterpillar, with Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat. You have to see this footage for yourself - I'm actually very impressed by this trailer. Consider me curious.

Here's the new TV trailer for James Bobin's Alice Through the Looking Glass, found on YouTube:

In addition, Disney has released a behind-the-scenes featurette for Alice Through the Looking Glass:

You can still see the first teaser trailer for Alice Through the Looking Glass here, plus the Super Bowl spot.

Directed by James Bobin (The Muppets) with a screenplay by Linda Woolverton (Maleficent, Alice In Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast), the film "revisits Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories with an all-new new tale that travels back to Underland—and back in Time." Sacha Baron Cohen as Time and Rhys Ifans as the Mad Hatter's father Zanik Hightopp, join the returning cast, which includes Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter – Hatter Tarrant Hightopp, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen – Mirana, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Mia Wasikowska as the title character of Alice Kingsleigh, Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum, with Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, and a score by Danny Elfman. Disney will debut Alice Through the Looking Glass in theaters (in 3D) on May 27th, 2016 this summer.

I was rather "meh" about the whole thing, but this trailer caught my interest. Loved the song.

I can't say I enjoyed the first, but it does look kind of cool.

@Alex_Billington:disqus Considering that the teaser trailer Alice: Through the Looking Glass came out on Thursday November 5th 2015, and Alice: Through the Looking Glass and Pirates of the Caribbean 5 have similar theatrical release dates for May 2016 and May 2017, Could that mean that Pirates of the Caribbean 5's teaser trailer will be released in early November 2016?
