Avengers: Endgame Trailer

"The world has changed… none of us can go back." It is time. One month to go. Disney has revealed the first full-length official trailer (and potentially final trailer) for Marvel's Avengers: Endgame, the conclusion to this grand saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As we all know, this is the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War - and the first teaser trailer debuted last December. They still don't reveal anything big in this full trailer, and it all seems to be from the first act of the movie. But it still looks epic. Engame stars everyone from the MCU: Chris Hemsworth, Elizabeth Olsen, Tessa Thompson, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, Chris Evans, Cobie Smulders, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Dave Bautista, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, and many more. I like the mix of the old legacy footage, and the bits of new footage. And the Captain Marvel tag at the end. Bring on the End.

Here's the official full-length trailer (+ poster) for the Russo Brothers' Avengers: Endgame, on YouTube:

Avengers: Endgame Poster

You can rewatch the first teaser trailer for Marvel's Avengers: Endgame here, to see the original intro again.

The Avengers prepare for a final showdown with Thanos. A culmination of 22 interconnected movies, the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the final turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it. Marvel's Avengers: Endgame is once again directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, known as the Russo Brothers, directors of the movies Welcome to Collinwood, You Me and Dupree, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War previously. The screenplay is written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely; based on the Marvel comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Disney and Marvel Studios will release the Russo Brothers' finale Avengers: Endgame in theaters everywhere starting April 26th, 2019 to kick off the summer. Any good? Still excited for this?

This movie has the rare pleasure of being able to show us next to nothing and still be the biggest movie of all time.

So true and I'm so glad the marketing team is holding back which they rarely do for tent pole films. Even though it barely showed anything, it still gave me chills. No film series has ever built to a climax like this and the anticipation is palpable. I'm beyond excited to finally see it. Anyone have thoughts on the suits they are wearing at the end? I'm thinking they might be based on Antman's suit.

It is my understanding they are for quantum travel. Just from what I have read on the internet.

Cool. So apparently I guessed correctly. =) I've been avoiding any articles about this movie like the plague.

That's SO true. It's a bulletproof 1 billion dollar picture. WHICH IS FUCKING CRAZY.

Isn't that crazy?? So true.

You might want to make it clear to people that this is the finale of this particular part of the MCU, but that Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out 2 months later to kick off the next leg of the MCU, which is planned to continue indefinitely. It'll never end until people stop watching these movies and/or Marvel Studios runs out of money.

Good news for more MCU films!

9

Well, that works for the film in general. It's an infinity game, not and end version of it ...

There is an interesting reveal...near the end when they are all walking through the Avengers hanger wearing matching suits, Tony and Nebula are walking with them. Now it could be a bit of footage shot for just the trailer and not get used in the film, but if so it would indicate tony and Nebula somehow manage to get to Earth. Either way I'm still sold!

I'm kinda worried that Infinity War was better than this one, but still...

I wasn't going to mention it, but Alex did, so...the Captain Marvel bit at the end makes me want to see CM more than the trailers did!

Ha. And she doesn't even speak in that clip!! Captain Marvel is an enjoyable movie anyway, you should definitely go see it before you see Endgame.

You've sold me, Alex...I'll be seeing it tonight!

"God it feels like thousand years ago... I fought my way out of that cave". This one line is just enough to realize that time is indeed flying and Marvel has lead us on an unforgettable journey leading all to this moment. Again no big revelation, just the tease that we are there. That the end has come. Nostalgia is all over this trailer and I just want to go the theater and watch it, I don't need any more promos or anything, just want to rest my eyes on this masterpiece. Marvel, we can never thank you enough.
