First Photo: David Ayer's Task Force X 'Suicide Squad' Assembled
Assembled and ready to kick ass. Ready to kick the Avengers' ass? Maybe. David Ayer has tweeted out the first official photo of the Suicide Squad crew in costume from his upcoming DC Comics' Suicide Squad movie, which is now filming up in Toronto. We finally get a look at everyone in the line-up, and all of their wild outfits, including (seen from L to R): Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. We recently got a first look at Jared Leto as The Joker, so that pretty much covers everyone. From this first look, I'm sure Harley Quinn is going to be every geek's favorite character in 2016.

Han, Chewie + The New Trio on Vanity Fair's Latest 'Star Wars' Cover
The Empire Reboots! Is that really the bold, eye-catching headline Lucasfilm wants on the cover of Vanity Fair? Is the new Star Wars saga really being dubbed a "reboot" or is that just mumbo jumbo they threw on there to sell magazines? Who knows. Vanity Fair has unveiled a new cover shot photographed by Annie Leibovitz showing Han and Chewie (Harrison Ford + Peter Mayhew) sitting with two new guys: Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, and BB-8 as BB-8. Yes, I'm including BB-8 as part of the new "trio" even though Oscar Isaac as X-Wing pilot Poe is missing from this cover. It's a cool shot and the best part is that Leibovitz has taken even more photos, and more will be revealed once the magazine is on stands. Woot.

Michael Bay Reveals Stephen Amell as Casey Jones in 'Ninja Turltes 2'
Just after we got our first look at the new ride our heroes in a half-shell will be cruising around in, not to mention news of a different actor playing their arch nemesis Shredder, producer Michael Bay has given us another glimpse of something new in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. We already knew "Arrow" star Stephen Amell was taking the role of vigilante Casey Jones, and now we have our first look at the hockey-masked character. Production on the film is already underway, so you can probably expect some more glimpses like this in the near future. He looks about as you'd expect, but maybe a little too clean cut.

Bryan Singer Reveals Jubilee & Jean Grey on 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Set
There's been a lot of talk about X-Men this week, from our first look at Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler in X-Men: Apocalypse to rumblings of the sequel, along with Wolverine 3, bringing the Bryan Singer X-Men universe to a close in favor of letting the X-Men: First Class timeline continue. We'll see what happens next year, but in the meantime, production is underway on Apocalypse, and Singer is certainly being open about teasing the film. Today he revealed a photo from the set of the sequel showing us Lana Condor and Sophie Turner as Jubilee and Jean Grey, all dressed up in 80s wardrobe and hair. Look!

Better Look at Ben Affleck as Batman Without the Superman Logo
We've already seen a couple good glimpses of Ben Affleck suited up as Batman thanks to that black and white photo of him standing next to the new Batmobile that debuted last year. The teaser trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice also featured Affleck in Batman's metal suit as he prepares to fight Superman in the rain, and the poster gave us a headshot, albeit with Batman's face obscured by a shredded Superman logo. But now we finally have a good look at Affleck in the cape and cowl in the form of the photo used for that aforementioned poster, but without the Superman logo. And there's one in color too.

Cotillard & Fassbender in New Photos from Justin Kurzel's 'Macbeth'
"It reminded me a lot of a Western." Empire has debuted three photos from Justin Kurzel's Macbeth, which will be premiering In-Competition at the Cannes Film Festival later in May. This adaptation of the Shakespeare classic stars Michael Fassbender as Macbeth, the duke of Scotland, and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth. The two of them can be seen in photos below, which have been released to remind us the film's festival unveiling is coming up. Aside from a Western, Kurzel says this reminded him "of a landscape and atmosphere that felt much more dangerous than I'd ever seen before from adaptations of Macbeth."

First Look: Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'
Back in February was when we heard from director Bryan Singer that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star Kodi Smit-McPhee would be playing a younger version of the teleporting mutant Nightcrawler, originally played by Alan Cumming in X2: X-Men United. And now, just a couple months later, we have our first look at Smit-McPhee teleporting in a quick little video that Singer posted to Twitter. Though the tweet making the reveal has since been removed, the video is still available online. We don't know anything about how Nightcrawler will be introduced this time, but Smit-McPhee looks good in the blue make-up. Look now!

Michael Bay Shows Off New Ride in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2'
Much in the same way that director Michael Bay teased a bunch of the new vehicles we would be seeing in Transformers: Age of Extinction, the director has just given us a first look at the new ride our heroes in a half-shell will be driving around in for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. It's completely different from the turtle van we saw in the first film, and this time Donatello, Michelangelo, Rapheael and Leonardo have a garbage truck to ride around in. Notice that the name on the side of the truck says 'Tartaruga" brothers, which is not only the name of the former owners of this truck, but also the Italian word for turtle. Look!

First Look: James McAvoy & Daniel Radcliffe in 'Victor Frankenstein'
Even though Daniel Radcliffe may not be doing magic anymore, that hasn't stopped him from dabbling in the supernatural still. The actor has gone on to star in the gothic horror The Woman in Black and the bold fantasy thriller Horns, and now he's heading into familiar classic territory with Victor Frankenstein, which puts a new spin on Mary Shelley's original novel. James McAvoy plays the title doctor known for bringing a dead man back to life, and Radcliffe plays his sidekick Igor, without that trademark hump. Some first look photos have surfaced from the set, though they show the production as opposed to the story.

First Look: Johnny Depp is Balding as Whitey Bulger in 'Black Mass'
Over the years, we've seen Johnny Depp in a wide variety of make-up and wigs, but rarely have we seen him like this. The first photo from the forthcoming crime drama Black Mass has surfaced, and it shows a balding Depp as real-life, infamous crime boss Whitey Bulger in the story about how this brother of a state senator (Benedict Cumberbatch), became the most feared gangster in Boston while also serving as an FBI informant to take down the Italian Mafia. On set, director Scott Cooper says of Depp's look, "A lot of people on set knew Whitey intimately. They got chills at the resemblance. Some of them couldn’t even look at him.”

First Look: Edgar Ramirez & Luke Bracey in 'Point Break' Remake
The remake nobody asked for is coming this Christmas with Point Break, a new approach to the 1991 action thriller of the same name that was directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starred Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. The film has become an action classic, but that's not stopping Hollywood from trying to cash in on its legacy with a new version starring Edgar Ramirez (Deliver Us from Evil) and Luke Bracey (The November Man). Now the first photos have been unveiled after some footage was shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas yesterday, and at least now we know that Ramirez surfs and Bracey runs. That's exciting, right?

First Look: Johnny Depp All Tied Up in 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5'
There has been a pause in production for a little while after Johnny Depp sustained a hand injury, but Disney still has Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales on track for release a couple summers from now on July 7th, 2017. And even though Depp has been out of commission for a little but, enough was shot for Disney to begin teasing the film pretty early out with the first photo from the fifth installment of the high seas adventure series. Depp is the only recognizable actor in the picture, and he's wearing one of his signature goofy looks as Captain Jack Sparrow, who has found himself in some trouble.
