Spider-Man Rumored to Be Shared by Sony Pictures & Marvel Soon
Over the past couple days, an interesting but vague story has been circulating about Marvel's plans for The Avengers 3. While there have been rumors that it might be split into two films, the contracts for the actors would make that tricky since most of them don't have enough films left in their contracts to fulfill a two-film split like that. But word on the street is that most of the heroes we've seen in The Avengers so far won't appear in the third assembly of the team, and that they're being saved for something else after that. Details are still too vague to really speculate on what that could happen with Avengers 3, but talks of someone big swinging into the Marvel cinematic universe could shake things up even more, but in a good way. Is Cinematographer Janusz Kaminski's Next Project 'Indiana Jones 5'?
Well, here's something that's interesting and a little bit flimsy all at the same time. Ever since Disney picked up the rights to Indiana Jones from Paramount Pictures to complete their acquisition of properties from Lucasfilm, there have been rumors of both continuing the adventure with Harrison Ford or maybe rebooting the franchise with someone like Bradley Cooper. Neither option has proven to have any solid development, but there's a curious mention of Indiana Jones 5 in a Variety article (via SlashFilm) that gives a crash course in cinematography from some of the top names in the business, and one was Janusz Kaminski.

William Shatner Has a Cameo in 'Star Trek 3' But He Has to Accept It
The reboot of Star Trek was directed by J.J. Abrams, and although he wasn't a longtime fan of the classic sci-fi property, he managed to take fans on a new path with familiar characters while keeping the old mythology intact. There's actually more than a direct connection with the original Star Trek characters (beyond following the alternate younger versions of them) since the alternate future Mr. Spock has popped up in both the 2009 reboot and the sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. And now there's a chance for William Shatner to have the same kind of cameo in Star Trek 3, appearing as the alternate Captain James T. Kirk.

Rumor: 'Deadpool' Director Tim Miller Says the Film Will End Up PG-13
While fans should certainly be excited that 20th Century Fox has finally committed to give Deadpool his own feature film in February of 2016, it's time to be cautiously optimistic. In an episode of the Schmoes Know podcast, the resurgence of Deadpool is discussed, and some distressing news came to light. While fans have frequently said that the only way to bring the Merc with a Mouth to the big screen without tainting the character is to make an R-rated film, director Tim Miller has apparently said that they figured out how to make a PG-13 film and still make the most hardcore Deadpool fans happy with the final product. A remake of John Carpenter's revered action thriller Escape from New York has been gestating for years, but no one seems to be able to get it off the ground. Now it sounds like they're making some progress as a rumor from Starlog (via Badass Digest) has surfaced saying that Pacific Rim and recently crowned King Arthur star Charlie Hunnam is the top contender to play Snake Plissken. Rumor: Warner Bros. Pushing Hard Against Humor in DC Comics Films
There have been some commenters saying that we don't talk about DC Comics films enough, so here's a provocative rumor that should get the masses talking. HitFix has heard from several different sources that Warner Bros. is making a big push to keep humor out of their forthcoming DC Comics adaptations that have been scheduled to hit theaters through 2020. Drew McWeeney (who isn't prone to just posting any ole rumor) says he keeps hearing a "no jokes" kind of mandate for these films in the DC Comics cinematic universe, and Badass Digest has also echoed those sentiments. But that seems more than a little extreme.

Jennifer Lawrence Maybe Taking a Role in Tarantino's 'Hateful Eight'
While we've heard that the cast of Quentin Tarantino's new western The Hateful Eight would be utilizing the cast that came together for the live reading of the script earlier this year, it sounds like there might be an addition to the cast no one expected. As of now, the return of Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walton Goggins and Zoe Bell have mostly been assumed with no official confirmation. Kurt Russell seems to be the only one definitely returning since he knew that production was going to begin soon. Now Collider is hearing that Jennifer Lawrence is in talks for a role.

Rumor: 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Villains Revealed But Not Explained
Not too long ago, some rumors regarding the basic plot of Star Wars: Episode VII were revealed, but as always, Lucasfilm, Disney and J.J. However, a new rumor has surfaced regarding the villains of the film, though it's not the first time rumors of the bad guys have surfaced. This time though, the information is more specific about ties to canon in the Star Wars universe, and it's kind of a game changer.
