FS.net's Whirlwind Film Festival Tour Begins Today!
We're off on yet another incredible adventure! I'm currently on my way to Telluride, Colorado for the 35th Telluride Film Festival, which will kick off a 27 day worldwide film festival extravaganza. I'm traveling with Peter from SlashFilm to Telluride then the Toronto Film Festival in September and eventually the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas to wrap it all up. I'm excited but also a bit weary, considering I'm about to be on the road for a total of 27 days. Either way, we're getting ready to bring you some of the best coverage from these three fests you'll see anywhere and are putting together interviews, reviews and so much more. Don't worry, we'll be bringing you all of our regular news as well as extensive festival coverage. So if you're not excited for the Oscar season yet, you will be as we start to head into September!

Toronto Film Festival: 20 Special Presentation Films Announced
The Toronto International Film Festival starts in only three weeks and today we've got a list of another 20 films that are premiering at the festival in the "Special Presentation" category. Back in June we announced the first batch of titles from some of the more obscure categories, but today we've got a line-up that should make any cinephile excited. From Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno to Stephen Soderbergh's Che double feature to Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler to Charlie Kaufman's Synecdoche, New York - they're all playing at this year's TIFF. I will of course be up in Toronto this year at the festival and although I didn't have the best experience last year, I'm excited to be traveling up there again.

First Batch of Toronto Film Festival Films Announced
As much as I love the Sundance Film Festival, it does only come once a year. As a perfect compliment to that fest, the Toronto International Film Festival takes place every September and is just as fun and exciting of a festival. This marks their 32nd year and promises to be one of the best with an already intriguing line-up of films revealed. Although none of these films announced in this first batch of titles really stands out, except for one, The Good, The Bad, and The Weird, I'm interested in discovering new films that I haven't yet become familiar with. As a brief introduction to the festival that is set to begin on September 4th this year, we've listed the first few titles that were announced in their diverse line-up.
